Vision Statement
Our role as the Drama Ministry Team at Lake City Community Church is to help promote the Word of God and Biblical Truths to the congregation and community.  Our ministry is used primarily in conjunction with the Music Ministry to provide visual support of the message spoken by the pastor or speaker during church services.  We can also be called upon to effectively communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to the un-churched population in this community and support other ministries in this church as they minister to our church family.
Ministry Goals
Our commitment to Lake City Community Church is to provide one drama a month for both Sunday morning worship services.  In addition to the Sunday morning dramas we meet together as a team on the second Sunday of each month to come together and fellowship with each other, discuss future dramas, provide feedback, and to create an interactive group atmosphere in which to work.
Rehearsals
Drama rehearsals are decided upon by the director of the drama being performed, and will take into account the participants schedules and availablilty.
Serving Opportunities
ACTORS/ACTRESSES...
STAGE HANDS AND COSTUMERS...
A stage hand is responsible for setting up and breaking down the set at dress rehearsals and Sunday morning rehearsals and services when a drama is taking place.  A costumer is responsible for organizing and maintaining costumes for a sketch or play when needed.  A costumer is a person who has sewing abilities and would be able to make a costume when needed.  A Props Master, whose roll is to oversee all visual aspects of a sketch or play, is in charge of all stage hands and costumers.  These persons are also expected to attend the mandatory TEAM meeting on the first Tuesday of every month.
WRITERS...
Any active church attendee is welcome to submit a suggestion for a sketch or play at any time.  The Drama Ministry does not currently have an organized group of writers, but when needed, a writer may be asked to develop a script to be used by the LCCC Drama Ministry.
NARRATORS AND EXTRAS...
Narrators and extras are a valuable part of the Drama Ministry.  Although not called upon on a regular basis, these individuals are typically needed when the Worship and Arts Ministries are performing large productions, usually seasonal.
Your talents, skills & enthusiasm are needed! Please contact Gerald Rosenbaum: g.rosenbaum@comcast.net to get involved in this AWESOME ministry.
